How do you clear the topics in the search space, that have been searched previously?

When I open internet and click on the scroll down symbol there is all the sites that have been viewed. How can I delete or condense this list so only my favourites appear?How do you clear the topics in the search space, that have been searched previously?
If you are using Internet Explorer, do the following:


Go to Tools --%26gt; Internet Options


Select the tab, ';Content';.


Go to ';Personal Information';


Select ';Auto Complete'; button


And make sure there is no checkmarks in ';Web Addresses'; field.


Press OK.


Select the tab, ';General';


And clear the history again.





If you are using Firefox, do the following:


Go to Tools --%26gt; Options


Select the ';Privacy'; icon


Make sure the box labeled, ';Save information I enter in forms and Search Bar';, is unchecked.


Press the ';Clear Saved Form Data Now';.

For internet explorer, Clear the Browser history and delete the form fields by selecting the list item and pressing the delete key on keyboard.
