How do you clear the search box in the Yahoo search section?

YAHOO TOOLBAR HISTORY


Click the BLUE DOWN ARROW in the yahoo search box, click OPTIONS, click CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY.


To prevent future yahoo searches from being saved, click the BLUE DOWN ARROW, click OPTIONS, click MORE OPTIONS and clear the boxes under the caption SEARCH BOX, click OK.





DELETING YAHOO HOME PAGE HISTORY


The record of search history which appears in the search box on Yahoo! home page is actually a feature controlled by your browser, not Yahoo!


If you have Internet Explorer as your browser, you may stop the search history from being generated by following the instructions below:


Select the the 'Tools' menu in Internet Explorer.


Select 'Internet Options', then select the 'Content' tab.


Under Personal information, click on the 'AutoComplete' box.


On the AutoComplete Settings window you can click the 'Clear Forms' box to delete your current history, or you can uncheck the Forms box to permanently stop the generation of the search history.How do you clear the search box in the Yahoo search section?

There are two ways to do this:


1. In the Yahoo! toolbar, go to the search bar and click on the down arrow beside it.. you know, the arrow that displays what you've been searching and all. by the lower right side of the list you'll see the options link. Click on it and you'll see ';Clear Search History';. Do that and you're done!





2. From the Internet Explorer page, click on Tools. Go to Internet options and from the dialog box select CONTENT from the subtopics. When you do that click on Auto complete and then select the ';CLEAR FORMS'; button. If any confirmation appears, click on OK. Presto!
