How do I clear the Internet Explorer search box?

The search box works in a predictive manner, bringing up past words I have searched. How can I clear this so no past searched words appear? Search box is GoogleHow do I clear the Internet Explorer search box?
Internet Explorer users:





1. Select the ';Tools'; menu in Internet Explorer.


2. Select ';Internet Options,'; then select the ';Content'; tab.


3. Under Personal information, click the ';AutoComplete'; box.





From here you can click the ';Clear Forms'; box to delete your current history, or you can uncheck the Forms box to permanently stop the generation of the search history.





Mozilla Firefox and Netscape users:





1. Select the ';Tools'; menu.


2. Select ';Options';.


3. Select the ';Privacy'; icon in the left navigation bar.


4. Select ';Saved Form Information';, unclick the ';Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar'; box.





This will remove the stored searches as well as prevent the storage of new search terms.

For History set the Days to 0.
Follow these steps to clear history in Internet Explorer 7.0 :--

鈥?Open the ';General'; tab.


鈥?In ';Browsing history'; area click the ';Delete'; button.


鈥?In ';Delete browsing history'; window click ';Delete forms'; button and then click ';Yes';.

Try right clicking on the box and selecting Clear Search History. Works for me.
