How do you clear the search history in the yahoo search window?

This depends on which version of Internet explorer you are using. I would start by clearing you history. In IE 6 you do this by clicking on tools Internet options, general tab, clear history button. While there, you can also delete the cookies, and also delete files. This will clear out the Temporary Internet files on your PC. What I am guessing your problem is though is a feature called Auto Complete to clear and turn this off, click on content tab, under the personal information box at the bottom of the window, click on auto complete. Uncheck (to turn off) the forms, web addresses, user names and passwords on forms. Then click the clear forms, and clear passwords buttons. This will clear all of the stuff that you should be looking for. Now in IE 7 you need to do the following click tools, Internet options, under browsing history, click delete on the bottom click delete all. Then click on the content tab auto complete section, and click settings, and uncheck all boxes. Both of these solutions, will fix the problem now, and if you have the auto complete problem, it won't happen again. Hope that this helps.
