How do you clear out the google search box of previous searches?

Running XP but clearing forms and passwords will not clear the google box out. Any ideas?How do you clear out the google search box of previous searches?
Depends on if you are talking about the google toolbar search or the google home page search. If google homepage search click in the box, press the down arrow and select one of the entries(like the first one) and hit the delete key. Repeat until all of them are gone. If google toolbar go to the Options then the search tab. Uncheck the box that says ';Drop down Search history';. Lat3rHow do you clear out the google search box of previous searches?
Right next to the word Google is a small down arrow.





click on that then click on Clear Search History
You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools%26gt; internet options%26gt; content%26gt; auto complete%26gt; clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.





You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil%26gt; toolbar options%26gt; uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history%26gt; ok.





To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools%26gt; internet options%26gt; general %26gt; clear history %26gt; set the number of days to zero%26gt; ok.

1. To clear SINGLE history items. Press CTRL+H to open the History Panel. Move your cursor over the one you want and click your right mouse button. When the menu appears click on DELETE.


2. To clear EVERY history item. Go to TOOLS %26gt; INTERNET OPTIONS %26gt; GENERAL TAB %26gt; CLEAR HISTORY BUTTON

1. To clear SINGLE history items. Press CTRL+H to view the history list. Then choose a chronological or alphabetical hierarchy in the View menu (the default is chronological, from most recent to oldest). Now browse to the domain, date, or page you want to expunge, right-click it, and choose Delete. Click the red X in the top-left corner to close the History pane.


2. To clear EVERY history item. Go to Tools %26gt; Options and click the ';Privacy'; tab. Click the + next to ';History'; to expand it. Just hit the ';Clear'; button.


3. To delete Firefox's entire record of your browsing activity, choose Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; History %26gt; Clear Browsing History Now (this dialog box also lets you set the number of days your history is recorded). Click OK when you're finished. To clear the browser's history of your file downloads, press %26lt;Ctrl%26gt;-J to open the Downloads window and click Clean Up.
