How do I clear the search history on web sites if there is no prompt for it?

I want to erase some unwanted web searchesHow do I clear the search history on web sites if there is no prompt for it?
It really depends on how much security you want and what browser you are using. In any case, the easiest way to clear your history is to open your history menu (usually a button on the toolbar or by pressing CTRL+H) and delete it from there. You can also go to your Internet Options screen by clicking Tools-Internet Options. At this menu you can not only clear your history, but also your temporary internet files, cookies, and autocomplete form information.

Hope this helps! How do I clear the search history on web sites if there is no prompt for it?
download a free program licl cccleaner or cleancache, and set either to run when computer shuts down, this way here all your tracks will be erased, like sites you visited and all, I have been useing them for quit awhile, ccleaner will erase tracks permanetly while the other will erase them so noone knows where you been, they both erase safely your index.dat files so you can surf without worring.
then you have to go to histry %26amp; remove from there
if we are thinking as a browser's point of view , what we can do is just get the tab of clear history in the browser and clear the history..

An administrator of an website can remove the history from the log file
