How do i clear my yahoo search list?

Im trying to clear my yahoo search history. It saves everything i have ever looked for and I want to know how to get rid of that little list. Everytime i put in one letter it brings up a whole list of stuff and i dont want that list to come up. Can anyone help me out?How do i clear my yahoo search list?

However, if you wish to delete search history saved by the browser and auto-filled when you type on the yahoo website, here is the solution:





To clear your history from Internet Explorer:


1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.


2. Select ';Internet Options.';


3. Click the ';General'; tab.


4. Click the ';Clear History'; button. To completely disable the history function, set ';Days to keep pages in history'; to zero.





To clear your history from Mozilla Firefox:


1. Go to the ';Tools'; menu.


2. Select ';Options'; %26gt; ';Privacy'; %26gt; ';History.';


3. Click on ';Clear.'; To completely disable the history function, set ';Remember visited pages for the last X days'; to zero (';0';).


4. Click ';OK'; to exit.How do i clear my yahoo search list?
In Internet Explorer





* Go to menu, tools =%26gt;Internet options =%26gt; content.


Click AutoComplete in the bottom. In the resulting window click clear forms.





* To permanently stop saving the search and form field entries goto Tools=%26gt;Internet Options=%26gt;Content=%26gt;AutoComplete uncheck all the boxes and click ok.





In Firebox





* Either press Ctrl+Shift+Del or Click Tools=%26gt;Clear Private Data. In the resulting dialog you can select the various options to clear.





* To pemanently stop saving data that you entered in search and form fields :


Goto to Tools=%26gt;options=%26gt;Privacy=%26gt;SavedForms=%26gt; uncheck the ';Save Information As I enter in Form and Search Fields';





your search or form entries will not appear anymore.
Thanks Chachi Elco. I didn't know that and needed to do the same thing. I just looked up, saw the pencil, clicked on it, clicked on clear recent searches and bam, it clears.
To erase all history

Go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Delete Cookies %26gt; OK


Go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Delete Files %26gt; Select Delete all offline content (this might take a few minutes) %26gt; OK


Go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Clear History %26gt; Yes


Go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Content Tab %26gt; AutoComplete %26gt; Clear Forms %26gt; OK





Mozilla FireFox


Go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; History %26gt; Clear Browsing History Now


Go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; History %26gt; Clear Browsing History Now


Go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; Saved Forms %26gt; Clear Saved Form Data Now


Go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy %26gt; Cookies %26gt; Clear Cookies Now

this should get rid of anything yahoo has saved from your searches.
I usually just wait until my machine crashes. About once a week.

if you have a yahoo toolbar go were the yellow pencil is it is on the left hand corner left click the arrow and left click the clear recent searches that should work
