How can i clear my search box of visited sites?clicking ';clead all'; does not work?

That is part of the autofill feature that can be turned off in options.

In IE go to internet options/ content/ autocomplete/ settings/ forms.

In Firefox go to options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.

You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry.

Go to tools on the top menu bar, go to internet options and then at the bottom it says delete historyHow can i clear my search box of visited sites?clicking ';clead all'; does not work?
Go tools then browser options and delete from there.
Even if you delete the history this will not remove a website address from the pulldown address bar. If you don't want to be discovered as to what you've been looking at you will have to download a free programme called ad-aware. This not only gets rid of spyware, it also gets rid of all the addresses that have recently been used in the address bar when you tic the MRU box when deleting.
Oh dear, someone's been using Daddy's computer to look at boobies!!!

For Internet Explorer:

Tools %26gt; Content %26gt; Auto Complete (settings button)

That's your list of sites to clean up as you wish :o)
