How can i clear my google search history?

its annoying and embrassing when i see what pops up when my mom has been using my pc %26gt;_%26lt;

anyone know any programs?

or how its done?How can i clear my google search history?
Hello Danny!

Let me clarify something for you. When you use Chrome to search for things, then these websites are stored in your history and cookies. Using Ctrl+Shift+Delete or using Tools %26gt; Clear Browsing Data is the usual way to get rid of the dropdown history you get when you type in the URL. This will clear away history and prevent any further embarrassment .

If you're talking about the Google search bar though (not the navigation bar) then here's how to clear it. Just right of the box where you type your keywords is an arrow pointing downwards. Click that. There will be a list of previous searches you've made on google. At the very bottom it should say ';clear search history';. Click that. Voila, your google search bar history is gone.

I have to emphasis that no other programs should be used - it adds more work to a quick simple task.

go on the ';tools';section and go on ';Internet Options';.

Next step:

Go in the '; General '; section and click on '; Delete...';

And the last step you have delete options i.e Delete cookies,Delete Passwords and more . so just click on whatever u want to delete.

It will show a dialog box (optional might not show and automatically delete) and you'll have your browsing history deleted.

TAD AA!!
At the top of your browser assuming your using windows there should be a tools menu on your toolbar click that go to internet options and on the general tab there should be a delete option half way down. Select that and make sure all boxes are checked and hit delete again.
If you are using Mozilla Firefox press ctrl+shift+del than click on clear now button or click tools%26gt;clear recent history%26gt;clear now
clear out the cookies on your pc and clear the history in your history tab
