How do I clear the search history which showes up on the Yahoo home page?
I've tried clearing the history through IE - tools, clear history but it did not clear the webpage search window. I want to clear the search history which pops up when I try to enter a word into the Yahoo search window on the Yahoo.com Web Page, not the Yahoo Tool Bar search window.How do I clear the search history which showes up on the Yahoo home page?

I know that it's the autocomplete that's doing this, not sure what setting covers it specifically. Maybe in Internet Explorer, try going up to tools: internet options: advanced: restore defaults and see if that turns autocomplete back off.
If you want to clear out your history as well so that people can't get on your PC and see the sites you've been to, on the General tab in here it clear history.
Open the browser, Tools - internet options -clear history, coolkies, and saved files
go to acesoft.net and download track eraser pro, this will clear all old cookies and search bars out this is a great program and keeps your computer running good....thank you
