How do i clear search history? I know how on task bar, but dont see a place on yahoo page.?

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools%26gt; internet options%26gt; content%26gt; auto complete%26gt; clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.





You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil%26gt; toolbar options%26gt; uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history%26gt; ok.





To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools%26gt; internet options%26gt; general %26gt; clear history %26gt; set the number of days to zero%26gt; ok.

I just got this way to delete ';Search List'; from


SBC Yahoo Browser.


Click ';Settings';


Click ';Display';


Click ';Clear History';, Then OK.


All done.

If you are talking about the yahoo toolbar: click the pencil and go to clear search history!


TO Delete recent searches from popping up in the drop down menu on a search page.


Go to the search site site, click where you would type then push the down arrow


on your keyboard.


As you move your pointer over a word it is highlighted,


Highlight the word in the list then hold down the delete key on your keyboard.


To turn this feature off in yahoo tool bar: Click the pencil icon go to toolbar options/ under Search box uncheck the first 2.


To turn this feature off Open an IE page go to tools at the top/ Internet options click the content tab/ then click the auto complete button/ uncheck every thing there

Go to the menu Tools ==%26gt; options and there is a button called 'Clear History'. That will clear all the history
I've had problems with getting too many different answers,


so I go to:


On upper gray bar press ';Yahoo';.


Then press ';Help'; in the Menu.


Then scroll to bottom of page and press ';Online Chat';.


This will get you a ';Yahoo Agent'; who will steer you through the process, free of charge. This works for


other problems too.


I suggest you make a copy of any items you want to


save because your whole Search List will be deleted.
click on the day (today, wednesday, last week,ect.)then right click it will have a delete option.
Ctrl+H.





And on the day you want to delete. Right-click and hit ';Delete';
