How can I clear the hisory in the search bar on he yahoo page?

IOn the yahoo page were you put in what you are looking for if I click in that space a list of old sites that I visited will come up. i want to know how do I delete them.How can I clear the hisory in the search bar on he yahoo page?
Click on ';Tools'; then on ';internet options'; click the button ';clear history';

Double click on search box


list of previous search items should appear


cursor over the top item


press delete key


repeat
